The riyad, once a classical palace in the Medina of Marrakech, has been ingeniously restored and designed. It evokes a cool mixture of orientalism and African ethnicity, with a contemporary style.

 

The traditional central courtyard is dominated by a mosaic pool, tucked under intricate arches, from which hang a lusciously red chandelier. The ground floor comprises the entrance hall, central courtyard, drawing-room, one bedroom with en suite bathroom, the kitchen and dining room. This room has been recently refurbished in a silver dominated slick minimalist style, yet the intricate large silver framed mirrors allow a sophistication not usually found in minimalist rooms.

The first floor holds the other three bedrooms each with en-suite bathrooms and a marvellous indoor corridor, which also serves as another reading/working place.
The work of these interior designers is ingeniously avant-guard. They finely intertwine designs and influences with spectacularly stylish results, always allowing for comfortable living and the preferences of their clients.

Cleaning service and a very nice continental and Moroccan breakfast is included. Additional service can be provided on request at extra cost during the stay. The keeper can help you with your luggage on arrival and departure. A transfer service from and to the airport can be organised in advance, in order to ensure you reach the riyad easily.
