Marbella Shopping Areas and Commercial Centres

Marbella offers a broadly varied and exciting shopping experience. From the most prestigious designer shops in the world to small, independent boutiques, and everything in between, Marbella’s shops offer something for everyone.

Marbella Town Center
In Marbella center, along Ricardo Soriano Avenue, you will find well-known boutiques, such as Berdager, Massimo Dutti, Mango, Zara and many more.

Marbella Old Town
It is fun to stroll and do some shopping through Marbella Old Town. You will find all kinds of small shops and boutiques. It is a must to visit Plaza de Los Naranjos (The Orange Square) where the Town Hall is situated. Having an aperitif in one of the small outdoor bars on the square is very relaxing. We recommend using the Avenida del Mar underground parking.

La Cañada Commercial Center
This is the largest commercial center in Marbella. All kinds of shops and boutiques, golf equipment, very large supermarket Alcampo, coffee shops, informal restaurants, and movie theatre. Fnac and the Apple store are here. Large free outdoor and underground parking area. Access by the Carretera de Ojen.

Centro Comercial Plaza del Mar
Small commercial centre on Marbella Sea Promenade which includes a large Fitness Center (O2 Wellness), movie theatre (it should reopen in 2018), restaurants like La Navilla and coffee shops. Underground parking.

Puerto Banús
In Puerto Banus you will find the most renowned international designer boutiques, like Lanvin, Carolina Herrera, Louis Vuitton, Armani and many others. The large department store El Corte Inglés is located in the new area of the port and has its own underground parking. You will find several underground parkings. Free underground parking with your movie theatre ticket.

Laguna Village
Small and exclusive commercial center in Estepona with some boutiques, restaurants and bars. Puro Beach is situated here. Outdoor parking space.

Guadalmina shopping center
This small shopping center is lively with residents meeting for coffee at D’Alicia’s, or noontime aperitif and lunch at the many good restaurants like Asador de Guadalmina and tapas bars. Small clothing and decoration boutiques, pharmacy, supermarket, beauty treatment and physiotherapy. Also some professional services are here such as lawyers.

Mercadillo (street market)
Opposite Puerto Banus main entrance, near the bull ring of Nueva Andalucia, there is a street market (mercadillo) every Saturday morning. You can find nearly anything at the “mercadillo”, which is a great place to buy fresh local fruit and vegetables, plants, souvenirs, spices, clothes, shoes, local handicrafts, imitation jewelry, ecological products, some antiques and more.

In Marbella town not far from the fishing port La Bajadilla every Monday morning there is a street market and another in San Pedro on Thursdays.

In Elviria there is an organic food mercadillo the first Saturday of each month. It is a nice plan to have breakfast in Elviria shopping centre and then buy food here; or have lunch afterwards at any of the cosy little restaurants and tapas bars. This organic mercadillo moves around the region every Saturday.

The “mercadillos” generally start at 9’00 am and finish after 2’00pm.
